Student Drop Off and Pick Up
As we continue to prioritize the safety and well-being of our students, we want to kindly remind all parents and guardians of the rules and procedures for student drop-off and pick-up times. Your cooperation is essential in ensuring a smooth and secure experience for everyone.
*PLEASE NOTE - The second entry via Boudreau Rd is for Buses ONLY. We continue to have vehicles coming in from that entrance blocking buses. Please use the first entry (south end) off of Boudreau Rd or entry off of Sir Winston Churchill. The safety of all our students is our top priority!
1. Entry via Boudreau Road: If you are entering the school premises via Boudreau Road, please use the first entry(south end) and make your way around the school to our designated drop-off area, which is located across from the buses. We kindly request that you do not stop at the beginning of the south entry to drop off students, as this is not a designated drop-off zone and backs up traffic on Boudreau Road, causing more delays.
If you are entering the school premises via Sir Winston Churchill, kindly take the first entry, turn right and make your way to the drop-off zone. Then simply exit to your right on Boudreau Road.
2. Exit Routes: When leaving the school after dropping off your child, please use either the exit off of Sir Winston Churchill or the second exit on Boudreau Road. It is crucial that you do not enter the second driveway off of Boudreau Road, as this area is reserved for buses to enter and drop-off. Utilizing the correct exit routes will help maintain a smooth traffic flow and keep our children safe.
3. "Hug and Go" Policy: We encourage a quick and efficient "hug and go" process during drop-off. Our goal is to keep traffic moving and minimize congestion. Kindly refrain from parking across from the bus lane, as a simple drop-and-go approach is the most effective way to ensure a swift and safe drop-off experience for all.
4. Student Safety Around Buses: We want to emphasize the importance of safety over convenience, particularly regarding our students' interactions with buses. Please remind your children not to cross directly in front of the buses or between them. Bus drivers have limited visibility in these areas, and crossing can be hazardous. We kindly ask students to either walk around the back of the buses or wait until they have left the area to cross the road. Your children's safety is our top priority, and these precautions are in place to protect them.
